I have been thinking about this question for a while!
1.WHY AM I OVERWEIGHT?
I think the answer for me is NOT being honest with myself! Its easy to eat something "bad" and not tell anyone- But who does it actually hurt? MYSELF! There is an app "MyFitness Pal" and you put in your weight, goal weight, age height, etc and it calculates how much calories you should intake- And then in the Food Diary you put EVERYTHING in there- Now here is where i tested myself! I gave in to one of my weaknesses yesterday-

did I stop at 1 (that has two bars in 1 "serving" package)? NO i had two, which was guess how many calories??- 660! Thats disgusting! Now thats so easy to hide from the world- But that is not being honest with myself- because it is ME that it will affect! WHEN will I learn- Well I am starting to... Here is my Food Diary from yesterday and I put EVERYTHING I had put in my mouth! and look at my overage of Caloric intake : 538 calories over!?
So my goal today is to stay within the calories I am supposed to!
This is why I am overweight.... I am not TRUE and HONEST to myself!
I also didn't put in what I did for exercising in my diary so it may not have been over to bad!

I think you're amazing! You have way more discipline than me. I'm in this "I'm pregnant so I can eat whatever I want" mode (even though I know that's not true). And yesterday's calories can't count. I think everyone exceeded their daily recommended amount of calories at the chili cookoff!

Awesome post!! It is easy to “do whatever you want” but is it giving you “what you really want?” Portions are key!!! Do you have to stay away from those bars? Maybe at first to prove to yourself that you can, or maybe just have one bar (1/2 a serving). Portions Portions Portions, it should be crocheted on a pillow!! :) or painted on a wood thing and hung in your kitchen!! :) KEEP UP EMO!! YOU ARE AWESOME!!
