Everyone has fallbacks right??

How in the world can you be SOOOOO motivated some days and TOTALLY not the next?? I don't get it!? Today was not a good day and I haven't counted my calories for a few days! So all i can keep saying is tomorrow is a new day... right? All I am in control is RIGHT NOW! I can't go back and fix what I did but I can fix what I do RIGHT NOW!

My whole family on Korys side are all big health freaks and they don't count calories they just eat lean. To me it seems very daunting to count calories. They eat lean all week not eating a ton of starchy carbs and then once a week they allow themselves a cheat day. They eat brown rice and sweet potatoes. A lot of chicken and turkey. And tons of veggies. Don't be so hard on yourself at least you are just trying to make your life better. Remember to stay positive about all the good things you are doing.

I NEVER count calories either. I always eat a lot of fruit and veggies. I only have one serving and leave it at that. If I take more than one serving I know I am over eating. I try and stay healthy without driving myself crazy. Now, I know you have to do what will work for YOU. YOU know what is going to wok to help you, no one else. We all have bad days for any goal we try to hit.That is the human nature in us. You are a great example to me and so many others. Thanks for your insights and amazing quotes. It is like turning a ship around...for a while you have to crank the wheel and really give it everything you have and hold on tight. The ship fights you the whole way because it doesn't want to change direction. Your body is the same, boy it fights and fights, but YOU are in control, not your body. Set backs will come, but you just have to fight through them!

Stay tough and keep fighting. The set backs will be fewer and fewer the more you fight back.

I totally get that!! I am the same way! I think everyone is. You are right, you can keep going because tomorrow is a new day and you can try again:)
