The Good, The Bad, The Ugly!
That was my first post title I believe! Well Since HAlloween, i still haven't really gotten back in the groove- DANG IT! But I am going to attempt to do a lot better! I have been thinking a LOT about how I need to get better again- and it was interesting because my sister in law contacted me today and was asking me how I count my calories and how she wants to start counting calories now and she has actually made me realize i need to be better- we are "friends" on myfitnesspal so she can check up on me! Anyway Jess, we can do this! I have a lot longer road to go than you ...but WE CAN DO THIS- I love having people to report too! thanks Seth, Rach, Ang, and Jess!!

So dude. My family is going to do a Biggest Loser-type competition, but instead of pounds, it's more of a Biggest Healthy Liver competition. So you get X amount of points for drinking 64 oz of water per day, X amount of points for avoiding sugar each day, X amount of points for working out at least half an hour per day, X amount of points for having 3 servings of veggies per day, X amount of points for having 3 servings of fruit per day, X amount of points for sleeping 7 hours or more per night, etc. So it will be kind of on an honor system, and the person who has the most amount of points at the end of 6 weeks will get $200! I'm excited, because it will help me with my Coke addiction, I hope. And I think if I'm getting full on all these fruits and veggies, I'll be less likely to reach for the carbs. And I have a harder time losing weight than, say, any man in my family - men just have to think about losing weight and poof! It's gone! So I feel like it will be more fair. My sister's friend has been doing this contest with her friends, and she's losing weight without even worrying about it! Filling up on all those veggies and all that water, plus the exercising, is doing it for her! I'm excited. Sorry. This is going to be the longest comment ever.
